The "rave" was weird though having no amplified music. Wasn't really clear if that was the one they were looking for.
I have been around and went to many raves and free parties at that time but none without music.
Must have been a representation of an early travellers free party which were the big thing in that area at the time. Not sure what the point was though?

I've just done the exact same thing. 2 and 3 together. Brilliant acting out at the table and how spot on they acted in the field being on the pills aswell.

Depressing as fuck, but quality. First episode and half of the second was quite light hearted(ish) and then Kelly gets sorted out and starts on the H and bang...its dark all the way from then on...hate to think what the last episode is gonna be like? Not a barrel of laughs i suspect!

Yeah tits and car chases make great drama, yeah I forgot.
A director having more control of the scenes and not letting the actors have such a free reign. Over cooked, real shame.

Found it dreadful so far, does swearing and shouting a lot mean gritty? The dinner table scene as toe curlingly bad, did everyone need to be choking back tears. Then we get the slow motion dramatic scenes with overpowering music.

Not sure what to make of it. A bit disappointing but I'm still enjoying it. More of a case of it's not what was expected but still well done much like 86.
Meadows stuff is very gritty and reflects normal life so this is what you get. You are not going to get loads of action and drama or a documentary about the rave scene either.

I thought that Sunday lunch scene was brilliant.
There has never really been a story with TIE is all about character development. I admit episode 1 was rubbish, 2 was saved by the last 15mins when Kelly got gangbanged. That was horrendously brilliant.
And then last night was depresssingly excellent. Can't imagine next week is going to be anything other than painful, do not watch with a hangover or any kind of come down.
Great acting last night. looking forward to the last one.
